Why I love rugs... and you should too

To me a good area rug brings the space together and acts as art for the floor. It sends a message, "look at me, I'm here and I'm brilliant."

When searching for the perfect area rug you should first determine the size you want, remember it does not have to fit perfectly under all the furniture, but should not be so small that chairs are falling off of it when pulling out from the table. When looking for a rug, don't be afraid to go bold... it's art baby. Let the rug stand on it's own and the furniture be it's compliment. After all a rug is easier to replace than a sofa, two chairs, a coffee table, a few end tables, etc., etc, etc.

Your roundup of interior design trends is such a fun dive into how small choices like colours, textures, and layout can totally change a space, I could almost picture some of those looks in my own place. I remember a semester when stress had me joking about pay someone to do my online exams just so I could daydream about redesigning my room instead of studying. It’s funny how style and function in our homes can feel as satisfying as crossing things off a long to-do list.

I read the post about 14 interior design trends you’ll fall in love with and it really made me think about how small details like color and texture can completely change the feel of a room over time. When I was finishing a big research paper I used Research paper editing & proofreading because my first draft was messy and I needed help making my ideas clearer before I shared them. That taught me that careful revision makes your work stronger and easier to read.
